Additions

  • Added new weapon ‘Shurikens’
    • Added upgrades:
      • Damage Up
      • Pierce Up
      • Angle Increase

Subtractions

  • Codex menu removed
  • Starter weapon & enhanced modifier upgrades removed

Level Changes

  • Levels no longer tie into one another, and instead you select a level before launching.
  • Levels have been extended from 3 minutes to 5 minutes
  • All levels now have additional enemies
  • Levels now have an adjustable ‘intensity’ level. Each level is unlocked by beating the last and each level increases enemy spawns by 10%, enemy health by 20%, and stardust rate by 25%

Modifier Changes

  • Run modifiers and starting weapon are no longer randomized and then chosen from prior to launch
  • Added unlocks system with 2 types of unlocks: paints and ships
  • Paints change the color of your ship and increase the chance of seeing weapons/upgrades of the same color by 20%
    • Added 9 new paints: white, red, orange, yellow, green, cyan, blue, purple, and pink
  • Ships each have positive and negative modifiers
    • Added 8 new ships: Starchaser, Low Flyer, Twin Flames, Speed Demon, Magnesis, Rage Hauler, Lightning Bug, and Arsenal
  • Players must now choose a ship + color combination before launch
  • Players no longer have a guaranteed starting weapon, but instead choose from 3 during the launch sequence
  • Added a button in the settings menu to unlock all paints and ships

Known issues / bugs

  • Occasional crashes on android

Priorities for Next Update

  1. More interesting intensity changes
  2. Weapon evolutions
  3. Improved in-game UI
  4. Reworking or removing upgrades system
  5. Level 4
