Additions
- Added new starter weapon: Orbit Slicer
- Added upgrade ‘Damage Up’
- Added upgrade ‘Shoot Speed Up’
- Added upgrade ‘Distance Up’
- Reworked ship select
- When first beginning the game, you have no ship select choices, and must start with the Particle Cannon weapon
- ‘Starter Weapon Choices’ upgrade unlocks all other weapons as possible starter weapons in ship select. Also increases the number of random ship choices to 3.
- ‘Enhanced Starting Modifiers’ upgrade unlocks the chance of your starter ships having positive (boons) or negative (curses) modifiers.This upgrade is unlocked after upgrading ‘Starter Weapon Choices’.
- Added ‘boons’ and ‘curses’ system
- Boons are positive run modifiers, curses are negative run modifiers
- Boons and curses come in 3 rarity tiers
- Starter ships can have up to 1 boon and 1 curse
- Coming next patch: defeating a boss gives you a choice of boons/curses
- Added minor boons:
- Stardust Magnet
- Sonic Airbags
- RepairBots
- Personal Moon
- Added minor curses:

Changes
- Base ship health increased from 3 to 4
- Increased base ship maneuverability by 10%
- The price and effectiveness of most upgrades have been adjusted
- The appearance of stardust has been changed to separate it visually from enemy projectiles
- Enemy projectiles no longer flash white, but instead have an outline that flashes white
- Crit Chance and Crit Damage upgrades are now only unlocked after beating the first boss
- Asterpede Centeroid’s targeted mouth attack has been made much easier to avoid
- Level 1 has a new song. The previous level 1 song is now used in level 2
- All new visuals for asteroids and Asterpede Centiroid
- Launch experience has been enhanced
Weapon Changes
- Missile Launcher
- ‘Projectile Damage Up’ upgrade replaced with ‘Triple Missile Chance’
- Laser
- Laser now does more damage to enemies the further away they are. Damage is 50% at point blank range and 150% at max range.
- ‘Damage Rate Up’ upgrade replaced with ‘Size Up’
- Arc Generator
- ‘Jump Distance Up’ upgrade replaced with ‘Generator Speed Up’
- Damage no longer falls off with each jump
- Base jumps reduced to 1
- Charge no longer grows indefinitely, but now expires at a certain size
- Scatter Shot
- Fixed bug where projectile spread was increased instead of decreased with each “Range Up’ upgrade
- Many other weapon balance tweaks
Known issues / bugs
- Level 1 boss can sometimes shoot a projectile towards the player while off screen
- Level 1 boss sometimes does not telegraph his shots
